Leather Shrinkage Temperature Tester
The Schap Leather Shrinkage Temperature Tester, is used to determine the shrinkage temperature of leather. The leather test sample (specimen) is submerged in water and slowly heated, until rapid shrinkage takes place. The temperature at which this shrinkage takes place is characteristic of the tannage of the leather. The higher the shrinkage temperature, the better the moist heat resistance of the leather specimen. Features include:
