Cantilever Stiffness Tester for Leather & Fabrics

The Schap Cantilever Stiffness Tester is an efficient and accurate method to determine stiffness properties. Examples are flexural rigidity of textile and leather. This manual tester is portable and easy of use.

The user places a sample of leather on top of the block. The operator slides the leather over the angled end of the block. At some point, the leather falls and touches the angled portion. At that point, the operator reads the amount of leather that has been extended over the end using the gauge.
