Baking Metal Filter for Toyota TSM0503G Fogging Tests
The SCHAP baking metal filter is a sintered metal ring used in the amine composite (combination) fogging test described in Toyota TSM0503G. This method evaluates the fogging characteristics of non-metallic materials used in automotive interiors under test conditions that include an amine solution.
The filter fits at the beaker opening between two silicone rubber sealing rings, beneath the glass collection plate. It forms part of the test’s specified assembly and is separate from the metal retaining ring used to keep the specimen flat at the bottom of the beaker.
