The Sintered Metal Ring serves as a crucial consumable component in a specialized fogging test, specifically designed for use atop a beaker. Often referred to as a “Baking Metal Filter,” this ring plays an essential role in the Amine Combination Test as outlined in the Toyota specification TSM0503G. Its proper placement is critical; the ring is positioned between two silicone rubber spacer rings, ensuring optimal functionality during the test process.

Constructed with a pore diameter of 70 micrometers, the ring facilitates precise filtration, contributing to the overall accuracy and reliability of test results.

There are two distinct sizes available for use:

1. 102mm outer diameter (OD) x 64mm inner diameter (ID) x 3mm thickness
2. 102mm outer diameter (OD) x 74mm inner diameter (ID) x 3mm thickness

These specifications allow for flexibility in application, catering to various experimental requirements while maintaining consistency in performance.
